The history of Israel and Eurovision Song Contest become one, when Israel hosts the contest for the first time, while it is the last year of Israeli army occupation of Egyptian territory, Sinai. Shooki, who is in the middle of his military service in Sinai, decides it's time to ask his girlfriend's father for her hand. To do so he needs to steal his commander's car, and do his best to meet his hopefully future in law before the competition ends, while hoping for a second Israeli victory in a row. Shooki's commander, major Magen David, will not accept any evasion on his watch. As a nationalist and patriotic soldier he knows army comes first, and all is fair. This hot pursuit leads to irreversible outcomes, when the two finally collide.
