The Prequel to the God of Gambler's movie. It chronicles how a young Ko Chun played by Leon Lai, acquires his legendary gambling skills and claims the title God of Gamblers. Ko Chun is a young orphan under the tutelage of Kent, a talented gambler, when he goes to compete for the God of Gambler's title. Unfortunately, Ko Chun is nearly murdered by Kent before he goes to win the final round and lapses into a coma. Seven, a girl who likes him, nurses him back to health but is killed the night before Ko Chun competes for the international God of Gambler's title and he seeks revenge for her death....
